One person dead after building fire in central Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — One person is dead after a building fire Saturday night in central Wichita.

Fire crews were dispatched around 7:32 p.m. to a maintenance garage near Boston and Mosley for a report of a fire on the second floor. Firefighters reached the second floor and found a man trapped inside. They rescued him, and he was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
