WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -- Thousands of flights saw cancellations nationwide as snowy weather hit the upper Midwest Sunday. As some flights in and out of Dwight D. Eisenhower Airport were canceled or delayed, we caught up with people returning to Wichita about their experience.

The airport is a hub for holiday travelers coming and going and Sunday . Harper Jones and her family were an example of that as they returned from Costa Rica.
