LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Christmas spirit was alive and well in southern Indiana to match the chilly weather this weekend.

The town square was filled with the warm glow of thousands of lights and decorations for Light Up Corydon on Saturday, Nov. 29.

Scheduled festivities also included a Christmas parade, special appearances by the Grinch and Santa, and plenty of local vendors.

“I love that everyone will come down to celebrate the holidays, the kickoff of the holiday season. And then just support small businesses as well,” Jordan Wallace from White House Popcorn Company in Corydon. “There’s tons of incredible shops. And it’s just been an incredible way to show our love for the community.”

You can check out the light display in the town square throughout the holiday season.
