Coachella Valley Unified partnered with local donors to provide 1,000 families with turkeys and produce, while parent and restaurateur Tara Lazar teamed up with Palm Springs Unified to distribute 2,000 prepared meals through F10 Love — the nonprofit she founded during the pandemic to address food insecurity — with the help from its food truck, Frankie.
