Lidl customers can make use of a shopping hack that will see them claim free veg ahead of the Christmas period.

A member of the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group posted a photo of their haul, writing: “Spud u like my free bag in Lidl today.”

Other customers soon shared how they made use of the offer, with another writing: “Yes, I got my free bag on Sunday. Didn’t opt for spuds tho."

A third added: “Got mine yesterday too, can’t beat them.”

Via the Lidl Plus app, customers can claim a "free vegetable item" the next time they walk into one of the discount supermarkets.
