A Romp on the Wild Side
On a recent Saturday evening, the Louisiana Children’s Museum was transformed into a lively lunarscape to raise funds and fun. Planned as a grand and whimsical adult celebration and presented by Manning Family’s Children, “Wild Things Moonlight Adventure” — inspired by Maurice Sendak’s book, “Where the Wild Things Are” — furthered the museum’s mission of elevating the potential of our community’s children. And in so doing, the grownups had a blast.
In keeping with the title, all gave an affirmative bellow for Taylor Pospisil and LaVerne Toombs , who hailed “from behind the thorny thickets” to co-chair Play Soirée.
