UNION COUNTY, Ga. — The family of an attorney and law professor who disappeared nearly three weeks ago along the Appalachian Trail is not giving up hope in their search efforts.
Charles Hosch , 67, went missing in the Blood Mountain area of the Byron Herbert Reece Trailhead when he went hiking on Nov. 11, according to the Union County Sheriff's Office.
Crews started searching for Hosch the same day on the ground, by helicopters, and with K9 units, and continued into the night. Their efforts were unsuccessful.
