One person died in a single-vehicle crash in Lexington County Saturday night.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a Chevy Silverado was headed south on Stone Road near Batesburg-Leesville at 11:05 p.m.

The truck went off the left side of the road and hit an embankment and several trees, then overturned.

The person in the front passenger seat died at the scene. The driver survived, but no details on that person's condition have been released.

The Highway Patrol is investigating.
