KOCHVILLE TWP, MI -- It’s the holiday season, and the Kochville Township Downtown Development Authority is hosting a free family event Friday, Dec. 12.

Christmas in Kochville, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 12 at Krossroads Park, will offer photographs with Santa, live reindeer, character visits, a bonfire, face painting, crafts, a station for writing letters to Santa, cookies and cocoa, and a fireworks display at 8 p.m.

Many activities will take place inside heated tents on the property at 5600 Cardinal Square Blvd.

Visitors can bring their phones for free photos with Santa. The live reindeer can be petted and photographed, and attendees can feed them for 25 cents. Free crafts will be available to the first 500 children, and free face painting will be offered.
