Train passengers are facing disruption on the East Coast Mainline after a person was hit by a train. The incident happened between Edinburgh and Berwick earlier today.
CrossCountry, LNER, Lumo and TransPennine Express services have been impacted. The emergency services have completed their work with lines reopening but passenger could still be delayed, services revised or cancelled.
Advice for LNER services: You may defer travel to Monday 1 or Tuesday 2 December without any additional cost due to the disruption today.
