HANCOCK COUNTY, Ky. (WFIE) - Deputies with the Hancock County Sheriff’s office says a suspect is in custody after leading authorities on a chase across two counties.

According to a Facebook post, deputies were notified of the chase coming in from Breckenridge County.

That was around 10:03 p.m. Friday.

Deputies joined the pursuit near Indian Lake Drive, where they saw the suspect traveling at a reckless speed.

According to authorities, the driver crossed into the opposite lane and disregarded stop signs through multiple county roads.

Deputies say the driver lost control near the intersection of Tom Bolin Road and State Route 1389.

The driver got stuck on an embankment and after getting loose, hit two patrol vehicles.
