EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Four people have been charged with Theft after Evansville Police say they found over 50 items from stores filling their car’s trunk.
In an affidavit, officers say they pulled over a car for speeding on the Lloyd Expressway near the Highway 41 interchange around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
According to EPD, 51-year-old Matthew Jones, 46-year-old Misty Mitchell, 48-year-old Misty Jones, and 41-year-old Kimberly Wisnewski were inside the car.
While officers were questioning the four, police say Misty Jones admitted to having a felony arrest warrant out of Vanderburgh County.
All four were detained by police, and officers say they were given consent to search the vehicle owned by Matthew Jones.
