The Cagle Volunteer Fire Department said they responded to a car crash on Hwy 111 in front of Dollar General Saturday afternoon.

One person involved was evaluated by paramedics, but no serious injuries were reported.

Debris was strewn about the roadway, leading to a temporary lane closure.

The Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office and Tennessee State Patrol provided support on scene, and will be conducting the crash investigation.

"As we move through the holiday season and into colder weather, CVFD reminds everyone to drive with extra caution," the fire department said in a social media post. "Changing road conditions can develop quickly."
