Winds stay calmer overnight as we begin to see increasing cloud cover ahead of our next chance for snow showers. Temperatures drop to near 20 degrees overnight, still feeling like the low teens. Chances for flurries increase after 3 AM, with spotty snow showers possible as early as 5 AM.
First Alert Weather Day Monday:
Heading into Monday, temperatures stay cold, and we have our next snowfall event. Since temperatures will remain well below freezing, we are very confident in snow.
Overall confidence is high on the impact of this system, but there are still some questions about the location and magnitude of the heaviest snow.
Monday afternoon, north of I-70, is where we will see the greatest chance for impactful snowfall. Especially for the evening commute.
