PAINTSVILLE – (TNS) Country music superstar Tyler Childers was spotted at Kentucky Walmart on Black Friday.
But he wasn’t just doing his holiday shopping. The Paintsville Police Department shared on social media that Childers, who graduated from Paintsville High School, stopped by their booth at the store, where they were raising money for their Helping Heroes program. The program, run by Paintsville police, firefighters and EMS, helps provide Christmas for children in Paintsville and Johnson and this year is hoping to expand to include local nursing homes. The post did not say if Childers made a donation; he is known for previous charitable efforts in Eastern Kentucky.
