On Monday at 7:41 a.m. a winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Tuesday between 1 a.m. and 7 p.m. for Wayne, Cayuga, Oswego, Lewis, Wyoming, Livingston, Ontario, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany and Erie counties.

The weather service adds to prepare for, "Total snow accumulations 3 to 6 inches."

"Travel will be difficult. The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes," describes the weather service. "Periods of snow will result in snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving."
