The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency released new details Monday regarding a Thanksgiving Day wreck that left one person dead and four people injured.

The Athens woman who died was identified by authorities as 36-year-old Andrea F. Lemoncelli

Lemoncelli was fatally injured when the 2014 Nissan Versa she was a passenger in was struck by a 2023 Toyota 4Runner.

ALEA says Lemoncelli was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Nissan was injured and airlifted to Huntsville Hospital for medical treatment, and the driver and passenger of the Toyota were both injured and transported to Athens Limestone Hospital for treatment.
