A man convicted on multiple charges related to child pornography in DeKalb County was given the maximum sentence, according to District Attorney Summer Summerford.

Summerford says Valen Edwards was sentenced Monday to a total of 60 years in prison.

Here is the breakdown of sentences for each of his charges:

10 years and $15,000 fine for one count of possession of obscene matter

10 years for another count of possession of obscene matter

20 years and $30,000 fine for one count of electronic solicitation of a child

20 years and $30,000 fine for one count of dissemination of obscene matter

Edwards was found guilty of the above charges back in August .
