MUNCIE, IN — The Light Up Muncie celebration is set for 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, at Canan Commons, 600 S. Walnut St.

The event will feature the lighting of a community Christmas tree, a "holiday lighted parade," an appearance by Santa and shopping at the Holiday Makers Market, along with food trucks and a "fun zone" for children.

The parade between Muncie City Hall and Canan Commons will begin at 5:15 p.m.
