CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A new taco shop will host its grand opening inside a popular Charlotte food hall this week.

will officially open for business inside Optimist Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 3.

A news release said the taco shop will serve “fresh, bold, Southwest flavors and bites including the stall’s signature dish, the cheese crisp.” The business described the cheese crisp as “an open-faced quesadilla that is crispier, flatter, and a little more indulgent than a traditional quesadilla.”

Other items on the Comal Taco menu include staples such as queso, salsa and guacamole, as well as several types of nachos and tacos, plus three flavors of churros.
