DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Two men died and one was injured after a shooting early Friday morning in Davenport.

Davenport police responded to a report of a person being shot about 1:45 a.m. in the parking lot of Chill Vibez Lounge, at 114 Myrtle Street, according to a media release from the police department.

Police said initial investigation shows a physical disturbance escalated. Police believe it to not be random act of violence.

When officers arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound and started aid, police said. He was taken by Medic EMS to an area hospital were he later died of his injuries.

A second man was taken by Medic EMS to an area hospital for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, according to police.
