A juvenile was hurt in a hit-and-run crash while crossing a Palmyra intersection, police announced on Monday, Dec. 1.
The child was struck while walking through the intersection of Railroad and Oak streets around 6:54 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, according to the release.
The driver did not stop and fled the scene, investigators said.
Shane Kramer, 50, was later identified as the driver. Charges were filed against Kramer on Thursday, Nov. 13, including Misdemeanor Accidents Involving Personal Injury, and the following summary offenses: Duty To Give Information And Render Aid, Immediate Notice Of Accident To Police, Right Of Way To Pedestrians In Crosswalk, and General Lighting Requirements, police detailed in the report.
The incident happened in the 200 block of South Railroad Street in Palmyra, police said.
