MISSOURI (KFVS) - Missouri saw fewer deadly crashes during the holiday travel weekend compared to last year.

That’s according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Officials say three people died in crashes in the Show Me State during the holiday travel period, which started at 6 p.m. on Wednesday and ended late on Sunday night.

Last year, there were 11 fatal crashes over the same period.

The highway patrol also reported a reduction in overall crashes, injuries and DWI arrests compared to 2024.
