In a last-minute, behind-the-scenes negotiation, Mayor Lisa Borowsky secured Axon President Josh Isner’s agreement to reduce the Taser maker’s plan from more than 1,800 apartments to 600 apartments and 600 condos.

Returning to the public, Borowsky told those gathered at the City Hall meeting this “creates finality on this issue.”

Maybe.

Then again, maybe not.

Though City Council approved the Borowsky-brokered plan by a 4-3 vote, Isner’s box out of Taxpayers Against Awful Apartment Exemptions infuriated the political action committee.

Without deed restriction language locking in the condo/apartment mix, TAAAZE has a message for Axon:
