Central Pennsylvania is facing its first big snowstorm of the season , which is expected to begin in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

And while several inches of snow are expected in our region, a spokesperson for PennDOT said that “things are looking good” from a preparedness standpoint.

“We’re all stocked up with salt supplies, and and raring to go,“ said Michael Crochunis, regional PennDOT spokesman for District 8.

PennDOT’s District 8 includes Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York counties, all of which are set to receive a decent amount of snow.

But the agency is in a good position to respond in our district, Crochunis said.
