AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - The City of Akron Fire Department had a busy Sunday responding to three fires, one resulting in a firefighter sustaining an injury.

Firefighters responded to a residential fire at 2460 25th St. SW, where heavy fire was showing from the porch and garage.
According to the release, those inside were evacuated when firefighters arrived, but live wire was found on the ground and Ohio Edison was notified.
The fire was extinguished with no injuries reported and the cause is still under investigation, according to the City of Akron Fire Department.
High-rise
The City of Akron Fire Department received report of a high-rise fire at 1791 Vernon Odom Blvd.
According to the release, heavy smoke was found on the first floor when firefighters arrived.
