INDIANAPOLIS (WNDU) - An elected state senator who represents Michiana was reportedly the target of bomb threats over the weekend.
State Sen. Mike Bohacek (R-Michiana Shores) said in a statement he and his family received threats of a bomb placed at their home. He says the threats are currently under police investigation.
“On Friday, Nov. 28, my family and I received threats of a bomb placed at our home. My family and I are safe, and law enforcement is currently investigating the threats made against us,” Bohacek said. “I’d like to thank the Long Beach Police Department, the Porter County Sheriff’s Office and the Indiana State Police for their quick response and assistance during this investigation.”
