The Uintah County Drug Court program recently hosted a successful ‘Friendsgiving’ event that welcomed participants, alumni, families, staff, and community supporters for an evening of delicious food and a focus on gratitude. “Our annual Drug Court Friendsgiving brought together between 50 and 75 people—participants, alumni, families, staff, and supporters,” said Uintah County Drug Court Case Manager Kim Rodarte. “It was a room full of connection, encouragement, second chances, and shared purpose.” The PSA from Uintah County shared that the Uintah County Drug Court helps participants recover from substance abuse use disorder with the dual goals of treatment and accountability.
