SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) - With all of the snow piling up on Tuesday morning, snowplows have been out clearing the roads.
In Wheelersburg, the Ohio Department of Transportation said one of their plows was hit by a fuel tanker.
The tanker hit the plow and kept going down the road.
Officials are trying to check video and see what company the tanker was with.
Scioto County EMS Director Larry Mullins said it’s important to give plow drivers room to work.
Weather like Tuesday’s can be dangerous for both plows and passenger vehicles.
“I think there were over 50 ODOT trucks hit last winter season around the Buckeye State,” Mullins said. “So, you know the old saying, ‘Don’t crowd the plows.’ So, give them room to operate. They’re out there for your benefit.”
No one was injured in the cras
