IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa City Animal Services is investigating a cat bite that was reported last week.

Authorities say the bite occurred in the 1200 block of Marcy Street around 2:00 p.m. on November 25.

According to Iowa City Animal Services, the cat was described as having a black and white tuxedo-patterned coat. The cat was not wearing a collar.

Iowa City Animal Services is looking for information in regards to the rabies vaccination status of the cat.

Anyone with information has been asked to contact Iowa City Animal Services or the Iowa City Police Department.
