SLIDELL, La. —
Three people have been arrested after a joint drug and weapons investigation.
According to Slidell Police, multiple local narcotics divisions were investigating a retail-level heroin and fentanyl distribution network, allegedly operated by Raymond Allen Jr. Advertisement
Slidell Police said Allen is known for distributing drugs in Northshore communities.
Investigators were able to link Allen to an operation based out of an apartment in New Orleans East, and a search was executed targeting the apartment.
Investigators seized approximately 153 grams of fentanyl, several firearms, and various narcotics paraphernalia.
The operation resulted in the arrest of Allen and two other people. Two of the people arrested were wanted on felony warrants out of Orleans Parish and Jeff
