PORTLAND, Ore. — A former Beaverton Police detective is facing six counts of official misconduct in the first degree. Michael Boliek, 35, resigned from the Beaverton Police Department following his arrest.
A Washington County grand jury indicted Boliek on the six misdemeanor charges of official misconduct on Oct. 14. His arrest and indictment have not previously been reported.
According to the indictment, Boliek allegedly convinced someone to send him sexually explicit photos by pretending it was required for official police work. He also used his badge for unofficial, unauthorized purposes, according to the indictment. Four of the official misconduct charges allegedly involved personal use of his police vehicle at Big Al’s sports bar, an oil change station, coffee shop and a Target stor
