Jason Shedenhelm, a fugitive this summer from the New Hampshire Department of Corrections, has been captured, according to a DOC press release sent Tuesday.

Shedenhelm, 46, was apprehended by California Highway Patrol in San Diego on Nov. 21, and transferred to the custody of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office. On Nov. 25, Shedenhelm was transferred to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on a California warrant for a child sex offense.

He’s held at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles pending legal proceedings on that charge. DOC staff are working to secure Shedenhelm's return to the Granite State.
