BUFFALO, N.Y. — More than 200 people packed the Schiller Park Senior Center Tuesday night for what will the first of many listening sessions hosted by the NYSDOT for a new Kensington Expressway project.
The listening sessions are a result of a ruling by Erie Co. Supreme Court Judge Emilio Colaiacovo that stated more environmental review for the $1.5B cap and tunnel project was needed.

NYSDOT officials decided to scrap plans for the cap and tunnel and restart the Environmental Impact Statement process.
"I know people are frustrated," said NYSDOT Commissioner Marie Therese Dominguez. "We've had a few projects that we've tried to get off the ground here."
