TONAWANDA, N.Y. — The Salvation Army is officially closing their Adult Rehabilitation Center on Military Road in the Town of Tonawanda.

The organization said in a statement released Tuesday, that the decision came after regular reviews of their programs.

The Salvation Army added that the 'As-Is' store and the thrift store on the property will also close later this month, saying, "As part of our continuing analysis of the expense associated with the building's maintenance and upkeep, it has been determined the best course of action is to close the thrift and as-is stores located on the property."

The 'As-Is' store will close on December 19, and the thrift store will close on December 27.
