WASHINGTON, N.C. (WITN) - It was another festive night for a tree lighting in the east.

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital in Washington held its 40th annual Lights of Love Tree Lighting Ceremony on Tuesday night.

People are able to make a donation for the lights in honor of or in memory of someone, and then the money goes back into the hospital to help improve patient services.

The night also included a musical performance from students at Chocowinity Primary School, an art contest, hot cocoa and cookies, and of course, Santa Claus.
