Kendall Coyne Schofield was a force to be reckoned with, scoring three goals to start the first win streak of the season for the Minnesota Frost as they defeated the Ottawa Charge, 5-1, on Tuesday night in Ottawa. The forward is now up to four goals through three games.
Coyne Schofield started the scoring with a goal just 24 seconds into the first period that was assisted by Kelly Pannek and Britta Curl-Salemme. A little over three minutes later, the Frost made it 2-0, as Dominique Petrie scored her first goal of the season with assists from Denisa Krizova and Lee Stecklein.
