GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Christmas is arriving early for a group of kids in a Green Bay mentoring program.
It was an unforgettable shopping experience alongside a surprise guest, Packers quarterback Jordan Love.
It’s not every day you get the chance to meet your franchise quarterback, let alone shop with him.
On Wednesday night, eight kids from Better Days Mentoring Program walked into Dick’s Sporting Goods not knowing they would spend their evening with Jordan Love.
“I was excited, just happy, grateful, because most people don’t get to experience something like this, so I really get to cherish and take it in, because it’s a one-of-a-kind moment,” Miguel Bonilla of Green Bay said.
Each kid was given $300 to spend in store, courtesy of Dick’s and the Hands of 10ve Foundation.
