KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WBAY) - Festivities kicked off at 6 p.m. Tuesday night for Kaukauna’s 36th annual Electric City Christmas Parade.

Attendees this year saw special holiday-themed floats, high school marching bands and community organizations.

A special zone was also created for those who are sensitive to loud noises.

Mr. And Mrs. Claus, also in attendance and kids, even got the chance to meet old Saint Nick, after the parade was over.

“The girls they love to see Santa and you saw just a few seconds ago the gentleman in the grinch costume rode by and Zoe my youngest daughter she loves the grinch, so we’re here to see that too,” Chris Petri from Kaukauna said.

This year’s theme is ‘Santa’s Workshop,’ submitted by Braden Schuh during the parade theme contest back in October.
