Halfords has confirmed it’s shutting over 500 stores on Boxing Day and New Year’s to give staff a “well-earned” break over Christmas . Drivers have been encouraged to be prepared and plan ahead for festive journeys as a useful shop won’t be open.

Halfords have warned drives to be extra safe on the roads and make sure their vehicles are prepared. The closures come alongside the expected closure on December 25, or Christmas Day.
