Cases of Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches sold in eight states are being recalled due to packs being incorrectly labeled and posing a risk to people with peanut allergies.
Montelez Global LLC, the owner of the Ritz brand, initially issued a recall in July, but the FDA said in a news release on Nov. 28 that Montelez is issuing the recall for 70 cases for the product “out of an abundance of caution.”
