Application period opens for LIHEAP following shutdown delay

HARRISBURG — The application period begins Wednesday for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, or LIHEAP, in Pennsylvania.

Delayed by a full month due to the federal government shutdown, this year’s LIHEAP season runs Dec. 3 through April 10.
