KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A statewide program is helping drivers across Tennessee communicate medical information to first responders quickly and automatically.

It’s called the Yellow DOT Program. Those interested can sign up for a packet, which includes a decal and information sheet. Those drivers can then detail any medical conditions they may have on the sheet and stick the decal on their car’s rear window.

The decal and sheet lets police, fire or medical personnel know what kind of medical conditions to be on the lookout for.

Those interested in signing up can check for a pickup site here .
