GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A portion of North Park Street on the northeast side of Grand Rapids is back open. It was closed for several hours on Wednesday morning while police executed a search warrant.
According to the Grand Rapids Police Department, officers served a search warrant at a home. The Kent County Sheriff's Office said the home was in the area of North Park and Paris.
No other details were offered as to why the police were there.
13 ON YOUR SIDE had a crew at the scene who saw animal control vehicles.
Officials said it's typical for animal control to respond to calls to make sure animals involved are safely secured. At least two dogs were removed from the home.
