JACKSON, MI – Three familiar faces have returned to Jackson City Council.

Families, friends and supporters packed Jackson City Hall on Tuesday, Dec. 2 to see recently elected councilmembers sworn into their seats. Incumbents Ward 1 Councilmember Arlene Robinson and Ward 3 Councilmember Angelita Gunn were joined by newly elected Ward 5 Councilmember Shalanda Hunt.

Hunt expressed her gratitude to her supporters and said her top priorities will be to create safer neighborhoods and to address parking concerns for downtown Jackson.
