ASHBURN, Va. — Commanders head coach Dan Quinn pointed to Sunday night’s performance against the Broncos as a step in the right direction. The defense cut down on mistakes and played with what he called “elite standards,” something he credits to leaders in the locker room.
“Although we’re not going to have a winning record, that does not back off winning standards and habits. I think of a guy like Jeremy Reaves — you want to talk about a guy who hustles? When you see people who have exceptionally high standards, of course it rubs off," he said.
