At the Broomfield City Council’s Tuesday night meeting, three outgoing council members were met with farewells and three new faces and three incumbents were sworn in.

Three new council members took office — Julie Twiss in Ward 1, Sarah Braun in Ward 3 and Sean McKenzie in Ward 4 — following the departure of the former members.

Additionally, incumbent Mayor Guyleen Castriotta was sworn in for another term, along with incumbents Austin Ward in Ward 2 and Todd Cohen in Ward 5.
