GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Greenville leaders and ECU students are calling for a fix after a 20-year-old woman presumed to be an ECU student was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday.
The single-vehicle crash happened just before 9:00 a.m. on East 10th Street at College Hill.
Lt. Brandon Edgerton says the car was heading westbound on 10th Street when the crash happened at the crosswalk.
It appears the victim first made impact with the car’s front fender on the driver’s side and then hit the windshield.
Officers say nearby video shows the car had a green light at the time of the collision, but their investigation into the crash is continuing.
