COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Texas A&M head football coach Mike Elko announced Wednesday that 25 student-athletes have signed financial aid agreements to join the Aggies, forming a 2026 recruiting class heavy on defensive talent and homegrown prospects.
The class features five defensive backs, four defensive linemen, four linebackers, four wide receivers, three offensive linemen, two tight ends, one quarterback, one running back and one athlete. Ten states are represented, with nine signees from Texas, four from California, three from Georgia, two each from Florida and Ohio, and one each from Utah, Iowa, Michigan, Mississippi and South Carolina.
