SEBRING ‒ A newly built single-family home on reclaimed land has gone up for sale, marking a fresh look for the village's landscape.
The Mahoning County Land Bank, Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation and Sebring officials celebrated the new house Nov. 24 at 324 S. 15th St.
Village Manager Tim Gabrelcik said this is the third new house built in the last three years, but the other two were on undeveloped land. This house infills a reclaimed lot in a neighborhood.
The lot previously contained a house that was destroyed by fire, Gabrelcik said.
The the home, at 1,500 square feet, has three bedrooms and 2½ bathrooms. It features an open living concept with dining and kitchen area, and a first-floor laundry room. The house also has a front porch and two-car garage.
